Location is great (central). Grounds were beautiful (with some construction). Condo was equipped for beach days. Some of the furniture is a bit outdated/warn (master bed mattress, patio furniture). Wonderful vacation.

This condo was everything we could ask for and more. Pictures do not do justice. Clean it has everything you need, they even had some beach essentials. When I come back without a doubt I will come back to this property. Breathtaking

Escape from the Canadian winter

Our family had a nice two week stay at Kauhale Makai 335 at the beginning of January 2020. The unit was well stocked with the essentials needed although we would recommend the owners supply a dust pan as we couldnt find one. The building was a nice quiet place to stay. We never heard any of the other units in the building and the pool was never over crowded which was great for our children. The lanai needed to be swept daily due to ash in the air but we enjoyed the views from it daily. Our only issue with this unit would be the ants that seemed to come in from the lanai or crack in the wall by the sliding door. As long as we kept up with vacuuming them they didnt seem to be an issue except for on the days we would be gone from the unit all day, they seemed to be everywhere. The unit could also use a fresh coat of paint to freshen the place up but other than that it was a nice place to call home for the two weeks we stayed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kauhale Makai. As two friends travelling together it was lovely to have a bedroom and bathroom each. The kitchen was a great size and had everything we could have needed. The balcony was a lovely place to enjoy the view and it was warm enough for us to be glad there was air conditioning. Thank you to Joan too for the recommendation of Akamai coffee, we went there every day for the best coffee on Maui. I would recommend this accommodation to others. Thanks again!

The condo was nicely furnished, the location was superb and the views from the unit were wonderful. The kitchen was more than amply supplied with cooking, serving and eating utensils. While not the Westin anyone should find this unit & complex well suited for a wonderful vacation on Maui we certainly did.

At this time of covid and everything going on it was so nice to get away. The condo was great. It had everything we needed. The weather was great and the people in town were so friendly everywhere we went. We are going to make this a yearly vacation. Thank you and we will see you next year. Mahalo from us all!

We loved the location and the low key character of our condo on Maui compared to the hustle and bustle of the north coast hotels and mins of people. Our view was unbeatable and we reveled in the sunsets plus the early morning flow in the horizon.
