This Cabin sits surrounded by trees giving the illusion you're more into woods than you are. Other homes nearby, but you don't hear or really see them. Beautiful home with all the rustic log cabin feels. Fireplace was definitely used nightly! We Went with Our daughter and her family, so we appreciated the washer/dryer for the Lil grandsons clothes. Clean and spacious with a Huge outdoor deck that wraps around the house opens up the living space amongst the trees. We accidentally left our Grandfather Vineyard wine glasses there, but you should book this Cabin and go there too! We've been going to Boone/Valle Crucis area for many years and this is a top property on our list after our visit. Would book again.

Great experience! Very clean, nicely appointed and comfortable cabin. Enjoyed the quiet location and watching the deer and other wildlife from the large covered deck. We highly recommend this cabin for a vacation in the High Country.

"Beautiful Cabin in a perfectly safe, serene setting" This was exactly what we were searching for to celebrate my fiancé's 50th birthday! Beautiful décor, very clean and well maintained inside and out. Very private and peaceful! We even had a young buck walk into our yard one evening, beautiful! The view was breathtaking and the peace & quiet heavenly! Everything was immaculate with plenty of extras. Really enjoyed the gas fireplace, hot tub and flat screens in every room, not to mention free Wi-Fi and fantastic cell service! We actually extended our stay after being so pleased with everything including the customer service reps who were very helpful and responsive from the start! We look forward to returning for the Christmas Holiday & bringing friends and relatives! Thanks for a wonderful, relaxing vacation away from home!

Almost Heaven was great for our family get-away. We enjoyed exploring the area and some down time here at Almost Heaven playing charades and watching movies. We enjoyed our coffee each morning outside on the porch, and the kids loved the Foosball table, calvin and hobbs collection, and the hot tub.
