Imagine an attractive cabin nestled in a tranquil wooded setting, conveniently close to local attractions. Surrounded by towering trees and the soothing sounds of nature, this cabin offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort.

Picture stepping outside onto a spacious deck to enjoy your morning coffee amidst the fresh mountain air. Inside, cozy furnishings and a crackling fireplace create a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring nearby sights.

Whether it's visiting quaint shops and restaurants in a nearby town, hiking scenic trails, or enjoying recreational activities like fishing or skiing, this cabin provides easy access to all the area has to offer. It's an ideal retreat where you can unwind in nature while still being just moments away from local conveniences and attractions.

Downtown Blowing Rock is a short 9 minute drive. Tweetsie Railroad and App Ski Mountain are both less than 15 minutes. The famous Blue Ridge Parkway entrance is just 9 minutes away, providing access to parks, lakes and plenty of hiking. Traditions Pottery, a quaint local shop representing six generations of local potters, is less than a half mile away (continue on Blackberry Road, turn right on Bolick Road).

Blackberry Preserve has a stacked stone wood burning fireplace in the living room and lots of natural light coming from the skylights and high peak windows. The spacious main floor wrap-around deck offers a gas grill, outdoor dining tables, and seating under the covered portion for enjoying the mountain air in any season. The master bedroom on the main floor with deck access, features a king bed, TV and private ensuite bathroom. There are two queen bedrooms also located on the main floor. Upstairs to the loft, guests will find an open loft sleeping area with a queen bed and two twin beds. Seating surrounds an outdoor wood burning fire pit for evening marshmallow roasts under the stars.

Please note, the internet has speeds of around 2 MB/s at this private getaway, which allows standard access for typical work-related or internet search activities, but not for data-intensive activities. All TVs offer Dish TV services. Blackberry Preserve does allow up to two cats to be included with a reservation; additional pet fees apply.  No dogs are allowed. Firewood packets are available to be added to a reservation for the indoor fireplace or outdoor fire pit. Winter travelers should be prepared for inclement weather with 4WD or AWD vehicles, although the driveway access to this property is not especially steep compared to many of the properties in the vicinity.

CANCELLATION POLICY: 
You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.
