Sugar Mountain is a true tourist destination with local dining, shopping, and parks. Enjoy fresh mountain air riding on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hikers of varying skill levels will enjoy the outdoors by hiking on one of the trails off the Parkway. Grandfather Mountain and the famous Mile-High Bridge are only seven miles away, where guests of all ages can enjoy the hiking trails and wildlife exhibits. Downtown Banner Elk, home to Lees-theMcRae College, is a seven-minute drive with local shopping and dining. Banner Elk Winery and Grandfather Vineyard and Winery are both about six miles from The Village of Sugar Mountain.&nbsp;<br />

This cabin has an inviting, open living space with leather furniture, a wood-burning fireplace, and a wall-mounted Pac-Man 13-in-1 arcade machine. The living room opens up to a dining area and a modern kitchen featuring quartz countertops and stainless-steel appliances. On the main floor, there&#39;s a king bedroom and a bunk room with two twin-over-double bunk beds, sharing a hallway bathroom.The lower level includes two king bedrooms with access to the lower-level deck. These bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom and have a mini-fridge nearby for added convenience. Each room is equipped with a TV.<br />

There are mini-splits in each bedroom and one in the main level living area providing year round comfort, with heat and air conditioning. Two dogs are allowed to be included with a reservation, and firewood can be included, both for an additional fee. Winter travelers should plan to be prepared with AWD or 4WD vehicles and at times chains may be needed during inclement weather.&nbsp;<br />

You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 15 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 15 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.&nbsp;
