Welcome to Cedar Ridge. A peaceful log cabin that includes three private bedrooms, 3 full baths, fire pit and game room. Cedar Ridge is located in Lake Lure, 5 minutes away. It offers beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The home is situated on two acres and offers a unique combination between privacy and a cozy log cabin feel.

Cedar Ridge offers a spacious, open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The living room features two comfortable sofas, television and a stunning gas fireplace made of stacked stone. Direct TV cable, with 187+ channels. You will find everything you need in your fully equipped kitchen, including an electric range and oven, microwave and dishwasher, refrigerator, toaster and Keurig coffee maker. Also, there are dishes and cookware for everyone. A central island provides ample prep space as well as casual seating for up to three people. The adjacent dining room can comfortably seat six.

Amenities include granite counters in the kitchen, 5 smart TVs with free WiFi, central heat, gas fireplaces, washer and dryers in the unit, a fire pit, a game room, and a private furnished deck. All bedding, towels, and dishcloths are provided. We will no longer provide extra blankets due to COVID and the new cleaning regulations. It is up to you. Most guests bring blankets, but that's not a problem. In the winter, it can get a little chilly on the lower level.

Lake Lure is just 3 miles away and offers lakefront dining and small-town shopping as well as family fun and adventure. Lake Lure Beach & Waterpark offers a safe place for children to play in the sand and slide down the waterslide. Lifeguards are on duty to keep an eye on them. Around the lake you'll find marinas that offer boat rentals, daily boat tours and dinner cruises. You can also go fishing, zip-lining, gem mining or play putt-putt. Chimney Rock State Park offers spectacular views, rock-climbing, hiking, waterfalls and more. Enjoy a day of golfing on one of Lake Lure’s three golf course or relax at Rumbling Bald Spa & Salon. This adorable mountain home is a great escape in any season. Visit in spring when the foliage begins to bloom and the temperatures are around 60 degrees. Enjoy your morning coffee or a relaxing afternoon in a rocking chair on the deck. Stay in summer when the weather is warm but not humid. Relax on the front porch with the views and soothing breezes.

Visit the area at the end of the year to soak up the cozy log cabin feel. The autumn colors are stunning and the winter weather brings a whole new perspective with the falling leaves. Stay warm by the fire, make a hot tddy, and relax.

AREA WIDE NOTE: Lake Lure is undergoing a drawdown beginning January 1, 2024 and lasting through the first quarter (March 31, 2024). The lake will be lowered approximately 1 foot per a day until it reaches 12 feet. During this time, infrastructure maintenance, dredging and dam projects will be accelerated. These efforts by the town of Lake Lure could affect the access to the lake or restrict any lake use. Click here for more information. The lake is expected to return to normal levels in mid-late April. We understand that this is an inconvenience but it allows you to enjoy Lake Lure's full beauty during the holiday season and fall. This will not affect smaller lakes in the region, only Lake Lure.

Fire Protection: Smoke detectors and Carbon Monoxide Detectors - This home is equipped with smoke detectors and carbon monoxide Detectors. It is against the law to remove any of these items from their designated locations. Avoid blocking doorways, staircases, exits, and entrances.

Pet Policy - We allow up to two dogs at no additional charge. Please clean the inside and outside of your home after your pups. Parking for 3-4 cars. Use the two carports to store your vehicles! Motorcycles and RVs also welcome! Check-in is at 4:00 p.m. local or later. Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. local or earlier.
