COVE POINTE, a beautiful log house with a magnificent boat dock is located in Rumbling bald Resort. This 4BR/2.5BA Lake Lure log home offers 2,700 square feet in living space! Grill on your elegant deck, and relax on the impressive private dock. Many would call it perfect! The Rumbling Bald Resort offers a variety of amenities, including a fitness center and trails, tennis courts, golf, a private beach and restaurants.

The Great Room has high ceilings, a gas fireplace and a stone surround that extends from floor to ceiling. This area is dominated by a centrally placed sofa and comfortable chairs. From here, you can easily access a half bath and one of the decks. This unique home amenity will please you no matter what the weather or the time of day. The lower-level living room features a 50" television, a couch, and a four-person table that is perfect for work, studying, or having memorable conversations.

The spacious kitchen is equipped with newer appliances, ample counter space and plenty of counter space. Serve appetizers on the kitchen counter with seating for up to four people and eat at the adjacent dining table that can seat up to eight people.

Bed and Bath: This four-bedroom three-story house can accommodate nine guests. The loft is the master bedroom and has a king-sized bed as well as twin beds for those traveling with children. The loft area has a private bathroom and a relaxing nook that leads out to a lake view balcony. The second bedroom has two twin beds. The third and fourth bedrooms have queen beds and deck access. The guest bathroom features a walk-in shower and a convenient half bath.

Waterfront Outdoor Areas - The wraparound patio has bistro tables. Grill on the four burner gas grill and then dine outside on the side deck. Pack a picnic, and head over to your own private dock. It has several loungers as well as enough clearance to dock a boat. The Rumbling Bald Resort offers shared indoor/outdoor swimming pools, a fitness centre, a shared Spa, tennis courts, golf course, restaurants, a dock, a boat launch and a private beach.

The driveway has parking for three cars, as well as free Wi-Fi. This home offers internet that is suitable for social and work needs. However, like many other rentals in the area, it may not be ideal for guests who need a lot of internet during their stay. The North Shore Cabana rents kayaks, canoes and pontoons from Memorial Week to Thanksgiving. Check to see if you can rent the Carolina Properties pontoon boats at the best rate. We'll deliver the boat to your dock and you can use it for a minimum of two days.

Lake Lure, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, has been named one of National Geographic's ten most beautiful manmade lakes in the World. You have to see it. You can enjoy hiking, kayaking, fishing, swimming and driving through the mountains while the windows are rolled down. Chimney rock is only 12.5 miles away. You can enjoy the shops there or hike Chimney State Park for stunning views of its 535 million-year-old granite monolith.

AREA WIDE NOTE: Lake Lure is undergoing a drawdown beginning January 1, 2024 and lasting through the first quarter (March 31, 2024). The lake will be lowered approximately 1 foot per a day until it reaches 12 feet. During this time, infrastructure maintenance, dredging and dam projects will be accelerated. These efforts by the town of Lake Lure could affect the access to the lake or restrict any lake use. Click here for more information. The lake is expected to return to normal levels in mid-late April. We understand that this is an inconvenience but it allows you to enjoy Lake Lure's full beauty during the holiday season and fall. This will not affect smaller lakes in the region, only Lake Lure.

All of our vacation rentals are smoke-free. Parking for three vehicles. Check-in is at 4:00 pm local time, or any time after. Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. local or earlier.
