Honey Bee Hill is a perfect log cabin to enjoy a peaceful mountain retreat with your family. Enjoy the tranquil lake view from the wrap-around porch, which is furnished with a gas-log fireplace. Take the kayaks included to the 12-acre lake in the private community for a relaxing day. Enjoy a relaxing day by grilling on the top of the line CharBroil grill. Watch the sky colors change as the sun descends.

This cozy two-and-a half-story log cabin has three bedrooms and three bathrooms to accommodate six adults. On the main floor, you will find the dining area with a wood table that can seat six people, the living room, with an electric leather sofa and recliner, a stonework fireplace with gas logs, the kitchen, with all the necessary appliances, and the bedroom with a king bed.

Take the stairs from the living room to the upper level where the loft is an elegant workspace. It has some of the largest loft windows we've seen. The loft is a great place to work while someone else reads or takes a nap on the large chair. Just at the top of stairs is the master bedroom, which has a king sized bed and a full bathroom.

The lower level of the home has a second living room with a TV, countless books for you to read, and plenty of room for the children. The third bedroom, with a queen bed, is also downstairs. There is a full bathroom. On this level, you will also find the laundry facilities. Through the sliding glass doors, you will find a spacious patio with a bench swing and a level grassy area that is perfect for yard games, cartwheels or mingling. Bring your own corn hole or game of bocce.

Honey Bee Hill is located in a quiet, private community just east of Lake Lure. It is a short drive to the Beach of Lake Lure (9.5 miles), Chimney Rock State park (11.5 miles) and the Tryon International Equestrian Center (18.2 miles), the home of the 2018 World Equestrian Games. In less than an hour, you can reach Asheville's downtown, where you'll find art, music and some of the best craft breweries in the U.S.

AREA WIDE NOTE: Lake Lure is undergoing a drawdown beginning January 1, 2024 and lasting through the first quarter (March 31, 2024). The lake will be lowered approximately 1 foot per a day until it reaches 12 feet. During this time, infrastructure maintenance, dredging and dam projects will be accelerated. These efforts by the town of Lake Lure could affect the access to the lake or restrict any lake use. Click here for more information. The lake is expected to return to normal levels in mid-late April. We understand that this is an inconvenience but it allows you to enjoy Lake Lure's full beauty during the holiday season and fall. This will not affect smaller lakes in the region, only Lake Lure.

No pets, no exceptionsAll of our vacation rentals are smoke-free. Parking 3-4 vehicles. Check-in is at 4:00 pm local time, or any time after. Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. local or earlier.
