Lake Therapy was completely reconstructed in 2013. The design was innovative (on par with the highest standards of today) and expert attention to detail was evident throughout.

The open floor plan on the main level features a beautiful chef's kitchen, with seating for six people at the large island and another six people at a table that can seat a family of six. This kitchen has a wine cooler, a gas range, two sinks and designer lighting. You'll enjoy cooking and entertaining in this kitchen!

The solid-surface flooring creates a cozy, modern farmhouse feel. The "cozyness" continues in the living room with the fireplace and the large nook adjacent to it, which has a view of the lake. This is a place that beckons you to relax and enjoy the moment!

The main level has a king-sized bedroom and a full bathroom with two entry points. This allows it to be used as the main bath on this level. Two bedrooms, one king and one queen, share a full bathroom on the lower level. The bedrooms have tray ceilings and are HGTV worthy.

How about those Views? In a word: WOW!

The windows offer spectacular views of the trees and Chimney rock. From nearly every room, you'll stop to stare. The upper and lower decks that surround the house offer great vantage points to enjoy the natural beauty.

The boathouse also has a large upper terrace overlooking the lake, which will make your stay even more enjoyable! NOTE: (boathouse is shared with a neighbor)

Chimney Rock State Park, Chimney Rock village, and Lake Lure are all worth a visit. Enjoy shopping, great restaurants, and a wealth of natural treasures. Asheville, and the Biltmore estate are less than an hour away. Enjoy a scenic drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway, one of the most beautiful roads in the United States.

The property has a limited parking capacity but it is certain that Lake Therapy will provide you with the most desired getaway!

Wonderful Outdoor Spaces The deck door is located to the right of the window bank. Enjoy your morning beverage here or relax in the afternoon sun. The spacious deck is a great place to enjoy the sun. Relax on the dock, or the deck at the top of the boathouse. The guests can also use a paddleboard and a canoe.

Perfect Every SeasonThe mild climate and natural beauty of the area allow you to enjoy this home all year round. Spring brings dogwoods and redbuds as well as azaleas and mountain laurels. Summer brings lush greenery and autumn colors are spectacular. The region is known for its red and gold autumn colors. Winters are mild and the views are amazing.

Be Our GuestThere are also many activities nearby for everyone to enjoy. Amenities and Notes will give you a taste of what the area has to offer. Pack your clothes and grab some groceries at Ingles Market (located just minutes away). Then sit back and relax and enjoy everything Lake Lure/Chimney Rock, and the Wallace Lake House, have to offer. We look forward to having you as our guest!

Bring your boat to dock (a town permit is required). Bring water toys for children (or the young at heart).

AREA WIDE NOTE: Lake Lure is undergoing a drawdown beginning January 1, 2024 and lasting through the first quarter (March 31, 2024). The lake will be lowered approximately 1 foot a day until it reaches 12 feet. During this time, infrastructure maintenance, dredging and dam projects will be accelerated. These efforts by the town of Lake Lure could affect the access to the lake or restrict any lake use. Click here for more information. The lake is expected to return to normal levels in mid-late April. We understand that this is an inconvenience but it allows you to enjoy Lake Lure's full beauty during the holiday season and fall. This will not affect smaller lakes in the region, only Lake Lure.

This home and property does not allow pets. Parking for two (2) vehicles.Check-in is at 4:00 pm local time or later. Check-out is at 10:00 am local time.
