Me, You, and the View is perched high on the hillside of the gated, private community of Riverbend, at Lake Lure. It offers breathtaking views and plenty of outdoor activities in every season. This home is popular with couples looking for a romantic retreat. The log cabin is located 7.4 miles from the Beach at Lake Lure and 8.8 miles from Chimney Rock state park.

Imagine lying in your loft bed and enjoying the sunrise or sunset through the large windows on the peaked roofline. You may not want get out of bed unless you can enjoy the breathtaking views from the balcony, where you can have your morning tea or coffee. Or maybe kayak or paddle on Mirror Lake.

Comfort and Desirable Amenities

This lovely log house features a main-floor bedroom with a Queen bed, a loft with an additional Queen bed and a 26" LCD television; and a living room with a 42" LCD with Dish Network basic channels, telescope and gas-log stove. A balcony deck is available with chairs, dining set and gas grill. A private garden is located on the side of the house.

You will also have access to the amenities at Riverbend, including the Mirror Lake and its sandy beach, the children's playground, the covered picnic area with rocking chairs and picnic tables, stone fireplaces, seating and eating areas along the Broad River and the waterfall, hiking trails, and breathtaking views.

AREA WIDE NOTE: Lake Lure is undergoing a drawdown beginning January 1, 2024 and lasting through the first quarter (March 31, 2024). The lake will be lowered approximately 1 foot per a day until it reaches 12 feet. During this time, infrastructure maintenance, dredging and dam projects will be accelerated. These efforts by the town of Lake Lure could affect the access to the lake or restrict any lake use. Click here for more information. The lake is expected to return to normal levels in mid-late April. We understand that this is an inconvenience but it allows you to enjoy Lake Lure's full beauty during the holiday season and fall. This will not affect smaller lakes in the region, only Lake Lure.

Parking for two cars. Guests can park an extra vehicle in the Riverbend parking area at Lake Lure, to the left of the gatehouse and carpool back to their home.

Check-in is at 4:00 pm local time, or any time after. Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. local or earlier.

NOTE: CANOE has been temporarily stored in the cabin, not next to the lake. The community has asked us to store them in the homes until a new storage area is built by the lake.
