Outlander Cabin, a beautiful three bedroom, three bathroom log home with a limited mountain and forest view is just a short distance from the cabin. It also has access to a community lake. The cabin has a sunny and shady front porch that overlooks beautiful vistas. It is located in the gated, private community of Riverbend. This cabin is located 7 miles from Lake Lure Beach and 8 miles from Chimney Rock state park. It's also 18 miles away from the Tryon International Equestrian Center, home to the 2018 World Equestrian Games.

Outlander Cabin features a large room with cathedral ceilings, a gas fireplace, Wi-Fi and a flat screen TV. The dining room has six seats, and the breakfast bar offers two more. This property has a functional and well-appointed kitchen. The main floor has a master bedroom, which includes a queen-sized bed, and an adjacent bathroom. This bathroom is also accessible through the main living space. On the upper level, you will find a loft with a flat screen TV overlooking the great-room, a guest room with a king-size bed, and a bathroom. The lower level has a bedroom with a queen bed and a bathroom.

Enjoy the hot tub, rocking chair, gas grill and large deck. Wildlife is abundant including deer, various birds, rabbits and wild turkey. The cabin has a mountain feel. Outlander Cabin is a great place to stay in any season.

The location is convenient to nearby restaurants, zip-lines, hiking, boating, fishing, and swimming. The Lake Lure Beach and Chimney Rock state park are within a short distance. Also, there are quaint shops and restaurants in Chimney Rock, Hendersonville and Flat Rock.

Gated Community AmenitiesYou can also enjoy the amenities at Riverbend, including the Mirror Lake and its sandy beach, the covered picnic area with rocking chairs, stone fire places, restrooms, breathtaking views, the Broad River Old Swimming Hole and walking trails. There are also seating areas by the waterfalls and along the Broad River. There is an excellent bait shop located across from Riverbend's entrance. Deer and wild tom turkeys are regularly sighted.

AREA WIDE NOTE: Lake Lure is undergoing a drawdown beginning January 1, 2024 and lasting through the first quarter (March 31, 2024). The lake will be lowered approximately 1 foot a day until it reaches 12 feet. During this time, infrastructure maintenance, dredging and dam projects will be accelerated. These efforts by the town of Lake Lure could affect the access to the lake or restrict any lake use. Click here for more information. The lake is expected to return to normal levels in mid-late April. We understand that this is an inconvenience but it allows you to enjoy Lake Lure's full beauty during the holiday season and fall. This will not affect smaller lakes in the region, only Lake Lure.

No pets, no exceptionsAll of our vacation rentals are smoke-free. Parking 2 vehicles. Check-in is at 4:00 pm local time, or any time after. Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. local or earlier.
