Welcome to Palms To Pines Lodge! This wonderful log cabin has plenty of space for your family and guests to enjoy your getaway from the everyday! Palms to Pines Lodge has three bedrooms and three additional sleeping areas, and three and a quarter baths. It can accommodate up to 10 guests!

This lovely log cabin, located inside the gates of Rumbling bald at Lake Lure is nestled in a tranquil wooded setting. It offers guests a variety of experiences both in and around it, including accessing superb resort amenities! You can easily drive to the Rumbling Bald Clubhouse to enjoy golf, swimming, and other amenities, as well as access to Lake Lure. In less than an hour you can reach downtown Asheville. In 15 minutes you can reach the towns of Lake Lure & Chimney Rock, and it takes 45 minutes to get to the Asheville Regional Airport. The cabin can be accessed by paved and well-maintained roads that lead to a spacious driveway with room for 4-5 cars.

Palms to Pines is spacious, warm and inviting with a kitchen that will inspire your inner cook. It exceeds even the highest expectations. No log home would be complete without a loft! Enjoy this cozy space - literally. There are two loungers for reading, napping or seasonal viewing through the windows. Or whatever you desire above the gathering areas.

The living room is adjacent to the kitchen and dining area. Guests will enjoy a roaring fireplace, a TV mounted on the wall, a good conversation and the seasonal displays from the many windows.

The wraparound porch is equally delightful, offering the feel of nature and more seating. It also has a fire table that will delight on chilly nights and days! A wood fire pit is also available in the yard for roasting marshmallows! Lake Lure, a picturesque vacation destination, is home to "small-town friendly", welcoming residents.

The lower level is a must-see for sports fans. Imagine yourself in a pub somewhere in Europe. You'll have a good idea of the atmosphere this space will evoke. The landing with its stone accent wall leads into a super-vibrant bar with plenty seating, a wall-mounted TV with dart board and pool table, as well as two queen bedrooms, one full bath and more wood and stones accents. This is a place for entertainment heaven, including fall football, race day, movie nights and more.

Palms and Pines is tastefully furnished yet comfortably furnished. It offers a perfect balance between ample seating and pleasing décor with neat, uncluttered spaces for clearing the mind, which is the main goal of vacations, right?

Lake Lure offers guests a wide range of activities, including swimming, kayaking and boating as well as hiking, walking trails and streams. Palms to Pines Lodge is only 5 minutes away from Rumbling Bald restaurants, fitness center, indoor and outdoors pools, a beach, two golf courses and the fitness center.

Palms to Pines is a great place to stay, but you may not want to leave.

You're just a short distance from America's favorite scenic highway, The Blue Ridge Parkway. Enjoy motorcycle touring, biking and hiking, white-water rafting, rock-climbing, kayaking, zip-lining, and other outdoor activities. Take a scenic drive to downtown Asheville and Hendersonville to experience the best restaurants, shopping, galleries and entertainment.

Please note that the cabin is located in an exclusive, residential area of Lake Lure. Parties, loud music, and unruly behaviour are strictly prohibited. Guests are expected to respect their neighbors and the peace that this Lake Lure region affords. Quiet hours run from 10pm to 7am.

Pets: Since many of our guests suffer from allergies, we have created an environment that is pet-free so they can enjoy their holiday without the risk of an allergic reaction. If you have a dog, we can suggest some nearby alternatives.

AREA WIDE NOTE: Lake Lure is undergoing a drawdown beginning January 1, 2024 and lasting through the first quarter (March 31, 2024). The lake will be lowered approximately 1 foot per a day until it reaches 12 feet. During this time, infrastructure maintenance, dredging and dam projects will be accelerated. These efforts by the town of Lake Lure could affect the access to the lake or restrict any lake use. Click here for more information. The lake is expected to return to normal levels in mid-late April. We understand that this is an inconvenience but it allows you to enjoy Lake Lure's full beauty during the holiday season and fall. This will not affect smaller lakes in the region, only Lake Lure.

No pets, no exceptionsAll of our vacation rentals are smoke-free. Parking 2-3 vehicles. Check-in is at 4:00 pm local time, or later. Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. local or earlier.
