Southfork Cottage is located in a convenient location! Biltmore is on your itinerary? You might want to spend the day at Chimney rock State Park or at Lake Lure's beach. Want to find some waterfalls? Want to shop downtown Hendersonville? Want to enjoy ice cream at Black Mountain? South Fork is the perfect little cottage for your landing. It is a centrally located, comfortable place to stay. This view was described as "...funny, beautiful, tranquil, and stimulating at the same time!"

Offering two bedrooms with two bathrooms. The upstairs bedroom features a set twin bunk beds, a bathroom, kitchen, living room and a deck. The downstairs features an open bedroom with a private bathroom and a laundry room. The lower level deck and the lower level are both a little lower than standard ceilings. This small cottage has been built for many years, but it was recently remodeled to make it modern and simple. This stylish property is ideal for up to four guests. Parking is available for one car, and it's about a 50-foot stroll to the house from the parking lot. This property is mainly attracted by its modern, stylish appeal as well as a nice upper terrace with cool views.

For All SeasonsThe mild climate and natural beauty of the area allow you to enjoy this home all year round. Spring brings dogwoods and redbuds as well as rhododendrons and mountain laurels. Autumn colors are spectacular, and summer brings lush greenery. Winters are mild and the views are spectacular. The Rocky Broad River is always humming, so you can enjoy the peaceful sounds all year round.

The Lake Lure/Chimney rock area and the surrounding communities offer a variety of entertainment and activity options. Amenities and Notes are just a few of the activities and entertainment options available. You can pack your clothes and grab some groceries and then relax and enjoy the area and Southfork Cottage. AREA WIDE NOTE: Lake Lure is undergoing a drawdown beginning January 1, 2024 and lasting through the first quarter (March 31, 2024). The lake will be lowered approximately 1 foot per a day until it reaches 12 feet. During this time, infrastructure maintenance, dredging and dam projects will be accelerated. These efforts by the town of Lake Lure could affect the access to the lake or restrict any lake use. Click here for more information. The lake is expected to return to normal levels in mid-late April. We understand that this is an inconvenience but it allows you to enjoy Lake Lure's full beauty during the holiday season and fall. This will not affect smaller lakes in the region, only Lake Lure.

Parking for only one (1) vehicle. This home has only one parking space. Check-in is at 4:00 p.m. local or later. Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. local or earlier.
