The Cottage at Grey Logs Cove is a charming lakefront getaway on Lake Lure. This beautiful home is "decked-out" with ample, lush and private outdoor spaces, including seating areas, picture-perfect covered patios, and it's simply too cute!

The Cottage at Grey Logs Cove, located on the main road that winds through the town of Lake Lure, is easily walkable to the fresh produce stand. The Cottage at Grey Logs Cove offers convenience, comfort, easy lake access, and parking. The Cottage at Grey Logs Cove is nestled amongst the trees on the quiet shores of Lake Lure. Water access is provided by the boathouse, which has an upper deck and a lower dock with steps for easy entry to the lake for swimming.

Come on in! You will enter the main level through the parking area. The living room is open to the kitchen and features a bar-style high top table that can comfortably seat four. This main level includes a queen-sized bedroom with full bath access. The lower level has a large den with a daybed and futon that can sleep up to four children. It also includes a second bedroom with a queen-sized bed, bathroom access and a laundry closet with a full-size washer/dryer.

The covered porch has double swings, a dining area for 6, and a covered porch that leads to the lake. The lake and distant mountains are visible from the screened porch that runs the length of the home in winter. Lake Lure can be seen from almost every room in this adorable house! The layout is ideal for a balanced experience of privacy and togetherness!

If you are bringing your own boat, it may be parked on the dock outside up to 24' in length (for pontoons). (The Town of Lake Lure requires a town boat license). Please note that the interior boathouse is used as a storage space and is not available to renters.

A large drive-through area makes it easier to access the house than with a typical Lake Lure vacation rental. It is easy to move in and do grocery runs (5 minutes from Ingles Grocery Store). Your boat trailer or multiple cars will fit perfectly.

All the amenities of the Lake Lure region are conveniently located. Chimney rock State Park and Chimney rock Village are both less than 10 minutes from the property. Five minutes away are the Lake Lure Marina, Beach, Playground, and Flowering Bridge. Boating, SUPing and kayaking are just a few of the activities you can enjoy. You can also go hiking, climbing, exploring and dining. You can explore the scenic byways around the area, visit Bat Cave, Asheville and Hendersonville and ride the Blue Ridge Parkway.

AREA WIDE NOTE: Lake Lure is undergoing a drawdown beginning January 1, 2024 and lasting through the first quarter (March 31, 2024). The lake will be lowered approximately 1 foot per a day until it reaches 12 feet. During this time, infrastructure maintenance, dredging and dam projects will be accelerated. These efforts by the town of Lake Lure could affect the access to the lake or restrict any lake use. Click here for more information. The lake is expected to return to normal levels in mid-late April. We understand that this is an inconvenience but it allows you to enjoy Lake Lure's full beauty during the holiday season and fall. This will not affect smaller lakes in the region, only Lake Lure.

All of our vacation rentals are smoke-free. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. local time (or later).Check-out is at 10:00 am local time or earlier.
