Wallace Lake House, located on Lake Lure offers stunning views of the mountains and the lake from its deck and patio. If the view and sound of the water lapping doesn't help you relax, then stepping into the lake with sand between your feet should! The shallow water depth increases slowly, which is great for wading or children (sorry no four-legged members of the family). This home is 7.6 mile to the Beach at Lake Lure. It's 9.1 mile to Chimney rock State Park and 19.4 miles away from the Tryon International Equestrian Center.

Great for Family Gatherings The road entrance to the home is located on the upper level. The boathouse deck and the ramp leading to the front door are accessible by wheelchair users.

Comfortable Living This lakefront rental offers all the comforts of home. The washer and dryer are conveniently located on the upper level, near the stairs that lead to the main floor. This level also includes a full bathroom and four bedrooms.

The main level of the home is located down the stairs. The open floor plan allows for great views and a relaxed atmosphere with friends and family. Standing at the bottom of stairs, you will see a spacious and fully equipped kitchen. The dining area is on the left, and the living room is further down. The sofa can be converted into a bed. There is also a full bathroom with stall shower (no bathtub). This home offers Internet, Skyrunner cable, three televisions and three televisions. The deck door is flanked by a large bank or windows. Open the blinds and enjoy the beauty of Lake Lure, as well as the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Wonderful Outdoor Spaces The deck door is located to the right of the window bank. This is a great place to relax and enjoy your morning beverage, or to escape the afternoon sun. The spacious deck is a great place to enjoy the sun. Relax on the dock, or the deck that is atop the boathouse.

Perfect Every SeasonThe mild climate and natural beauty of the area allow you to enjoy this home all year round. Spring brings dogwoods and redbuds as well as rhododendrons and mountain laurels. Summer brings lush greenery and autumn colors are spectacular. The region is known for its red and gold autumn colors. Winters are mild and the views are amazing.

AREA WIDE NOTE: Lake Lure is undergoing a drawdown beginning January 1, 2024 and lasting through the first quarter (March 31, 2024). The lake will be lowered approximately 1 foot per a day until it reaches 12 feet. During this time, infrastructure maintenance, dredging and dam projects will be accelerated. These efforts by the town of Lake Lure could affect the access to the lake or restrict any lake use. Click here for more information. The lake is expected to return to normal levels in mid-late April. We understand that this is an inconvenience but it allows you to enjoy Lake Lure's full beauty during the holiday season and fall. This will not affect smaller lakes in the region, only Lake Lure.

All of our vacation rentals are smoke-free. This home and property does not allow pets. Parking for four (4) vehicles.Check-in is at 4:00 pm local time or later. Check-out is at 10:00 am local time.
