Property Description

Aquatic Moon is located on beautiful Lake Catherine in a gated community. You'll enjoy a large pool area, outdoor kitchen with built-in and stand alone grills, tv, sound system; all with amazing views on multiple decks and stairway access to the Lake via private boat dock. It has 4 bedrooms/3 bathrooms, plus 1 additional bathroom by the pool. The house will easily accomodate 12-14 people. Both Keurig and drip coffee maker, microwave, wet bar, ice maker, free Wi-Fi, keyless entry, central A/C, heat, towels/linens, hair dryer. Access to 18 hole Golf course, basketball court, tennis/pickleball court, Disc Golf Course, kids playground, public pool, and boat ramp.

The upstairs is handicap accessible and the interior of this amazing property features a well-furnished Kitchen, a spacious island and double oven. Eat-in kitchen nook or dinning area in the “green room” overlooking the lake. The main level master bedroom has a king size bed (sleeps 2) and easy-access shower. A sliding glass door opens to a private deck for evening cocktail or morning coffee; or both if needed. The second main level bedroom has a full bed (sleeps 1-2) and is adjacent to a hallway half-bath. It also has a glass sliding door with a separate private deck. A down stairway leads to another large living space with a game room, a cabin-style bunk room with two bunk beds; sleeps two on bottom and one on top (sleeps total 6 people). Another spacious downstairs bedroom features two queen beds (sleeps 4 total). Full bath downstairs.

Bring your swimsuit in-season and your fishing rods in any season. Good times and a great property are awaiting you !!
No smoking, no pets, must be 25 to book, additional fees and taxes may apply, BYOB-Bring your own boat, or rent one from the State Park, Events may be allowed upon special request.


Vacation Rental Policies

Payments

In House Only - Accepted form of Payment:  Personal checks are accepted as payment if received a minimum of fifteen days prior to the arrival date for in house reservations only.  A Visa, Discover, or MasterCard is required for initial booking in house or on-line service

Check In:

Check-In/Check-Out. The Accommodations will be available for occupancy beginning at 4:00 pm on the Check-In Date, and must be vacated by 10:00 am on the Check-Out Date unless previously authorized by the management company.

Check-In/Check-Out. The Accommodations will be available for occupancy beginning at 4:00 pm on the Check-In Date, and must be vacated by 10:00 am on the Check-Out Date unless previously authorized by the management company. 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations or Refunds:  Any cancellations or changes to a reservation must be made a minimum of 15 days prior to the arrival date for a full refund of the security deposit.  Cancellations or changes made less than 15 days of the arrival date will result in a 50% penalty of the total nightly rate.  There will be no refunds given for early departures. If you have booked through on-line services and need to cancel your reservation YOU MUST CANCEL THIS RESERVATION YOURSELF.

Other Policies

Maximum Occupancy. The Tenant will permit no more than the maximum occupancy unless previously authorized by the management company in writing.  If the maximum allowable occupancy is breached, your credit card on file may be charged a penalty, and there may be cause for immediate eviction.


Minimum Age required to rent is 25 years and the Tenant who books the property must stay at the property for the entire rental period.  Sub-letting or parents renting for their children under the age of 25 is NOT allowed.  No student groups or house parties of any kind. 


House Rules: The Tenant agrees to follow all house rules posted in the Accommodations, Terms and Conditions prior to check-in. While using the Accommodations, the Tenant will abide by all applicable governmental laws and regulations and will be responsible for all damage to the Accommodations beyond ordinary wear and tear. The Tenant agrees to indemnify and hold the management company harmless from all liability, loss or damage arising from any nuisance or harm made or suffered on the accommodations by the Tenant's tenants, the Tenants, or from any carelessness, neglect or improper conduct of any persons entering, occupying or visiting the accommodations.


House Activities:  No parties/showers/or small gatherings are allowed unless previously authorized in writing by the management company. If house activities are found, your credit card on file may be charged a penalty, and there may be cause for immediate eviction or loss of deposit. Wi-Fi-,TV, DVD equipment: All Rentals may or may not have internet: If any cables, USB cords, batteries or equipment are removed or missing wires you also may be charged for misuse of property.


Cleaning Requirements: Departure Maid Service is in addition to all vacation rental rates and is nonrefundable.  Before checking out, Tenants agree to leave the property reasonably clean and reasonably in order, prepare the property for cleaning by housekeeping by completing the following tasks:  empty all trash cans and deposit accumulated household trash in the garbage bin provided, empty refrigerator, turn ice maker off, place any dirty dishes in dishwasher and set to start, pull all linens and towels and place in laundry room, lock all doors and windows, turn off all lights, fans, and small appliances.  


No Pets and No Smoking: No pets are permitted without prior written approval from the management company unless the property is authorized as pet friendly. A separate cleaning pet deposit is required. Absolutely no smoking inside all rental vacation property.  All cigarette butts must be placed in an appropriate receptacle outside at all times.  Smoking and unauthorized pets will each result in an additional charge and/or immediate eviction without refund.


Personal Items:  We are not responsible for personal items Tenants may leave on the property.  However, we will make diligent efforts to locate left items of importance and return to Tenants at the Tenants’ expense. Let our office know as soon as possible due to a timely turnover.


Unavailability of Accommodations: In the event that the Accommodations are unavailable for any reason beyond the control of the management company (including, without limitation, acts of God such as fire, water damage or natural disaster), and if the management company cannot secure comparable accommodations for the Tenant, the management company shall refund the total rent and the refundable deposit to the Tenant, and this Agreement will thereupon be deemed terminated. In no event shall the management company be liable to the tenant beyond the return deposit and the total Rent.  In the event that the accommodations are unavailable due to a double booking, and if the management company cannot secure comparable accommodations for the tenant, the management company shall refund the Total Rent and Deposit to the tenant, and this agreement will thereupon be deemed terminated.


Holdovers: If the Tenant does not vacate in a timely fashion, the Tenant will be subject to eviction and the rental amount due for any full or partial day following the specified check-out time.


Equipment Failure:  Even the best equipment, appliances, air conditioners, televisions, WIFI occasionally malfunction. We cannot guarantee them to perform 100% at all times. However, we do guarantee to correct the problem as soon as possible if our office is promptly notified. We do not give discounts. No


Fireworks:  No fireworks of any kind are allowed on any Diamondhead Realty rental properties.


Owners Personal Property:  One or more closets, storerooms, or garages may be locked for the owner’s personal storage and is not included in this rental.  


Good Neighbor Policy:  We respectfully request that you remember you are staying in someone’s home during your vacation. Please treat it with care and leave it in good condition at check-out.   Please be courteous of our neighbors as well.  Keep the noise at a respectful level.          


Please be advised that you MUST notify our office IMMEDIATELY if you have any problems with the condition of the property, to include housekeeping issues. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS will be given if problems are not reported to the office upon arrival, giving us an opportunity to correct the issue. Should you arrive late, you can call our After Hours Emergency line.
