What an incredible house! The master bed is incredibly comfortable, the house is well stocked with anything you need, the layout is perfect for a family, and the house was incredibly clean! Carol... she's amazing! The location you simply cannot beat (near Tippy's, the beach, a few minutes from other restaurants). We highly recommend and will be back!

Beautifully appointed. Clean. Amanda the property manager was friendly, prompt and arrived immediately when we encountered a small problem at the home. I would recommend Gumbo Limbo. It is not beach front but you can see the ocean from the front porch and it is a short walk to the beach and to Tippy’s.

Carol (the property manager) was exceptional. Briefed us fully on everything at the house and showed us everything we could possibly need. The house is fully equipped with everything to make the stay as hassle free and as fun as possible.
Everything was well organised and clean, and our stay there was comfortable.

The beach across the street is stunning and easily accessible, I just regret we didn't get to try the kayak's that were available to us.

Gumbo Limbo was a great place for our family to stay in Eleuthera. It’s just down the road from Tippy’s which was a good place to eat. We really wanted to stay more central on the island, near Governor’s Harbour because we knew we’d be doing activities all over the entire island. Gumbo Limbo was positioned well - near Governor’s, close to Palmetto, within driving distance of everything we wanted to do. The house has a beautiful beach just across the road, to include kayaks, snorkel gear, beach chairs, etc. The house was super clean - Carol takes care of the place. She’s incredibly sweet and welcoming; she does a great job! Etienne did the yard/garden work and he’s also a good dude. Good internet, clean water, good kitchen setup, comfy beds and furniture. I could go on. We have no complaints whatsoever about this place!

We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Trace with our three teens. The house is modern and the kitchen is well equipped (we were even able to bake a cake!). The house is situated on a quiet spot and one can hear the ocean through the open windows. It is a VERY short walk to the ocean and we actually liked being a bit away since it gave us added privacy. Arnold and Patsy (who takes care of the house) were waiting for us when we arrived, even though our flight was late and we didn't arrive till late. They genuinely cared and made sure we had all we needed. The owners clearly care about the house and it is well maintained. Banks Rd is close to Governors Harbor, if one needs any groceries, and the beaches are some of the best on the island with plenty of swimming, snorkling, and walking. This is our new favorite spot in Eleuthera!

Ocean Trace was the first of two rental homes my friends and I stayed in during our visit to Eleuthera. What a nice, clean welcome Ocean Trace provided. The home is spacious, bright, cool and clean. A home away from home. We did not want for anything in this well-equipped and comfortably furnished home. We had easy to access Wi-Fi, cable TV, movies, games and every appliance and item of cookware you could want. An added bonus is the expansive decking around the home. The deck furniture is comfortable and gives plenty of cover from the sun.

Arnold and Patsy greeted us warmly and took their time giving us a tour of the home and orienting us to the location. Speaking of location; Ocean Trace is a short walk (basically the edge of the property) to a deeded path and wood steps down to the beach. If you feel like taking a longer walk up Banks Road or the beach you will find a well-established restaurant and bar called Tippys. Ocean Trace is located only a short drive to the town of Governors Harbour which has everything you need; grocery stores, gas station, bakery, liquor stores, restaurants, etc. An easy trip that we ended up doing daily for one thing or another.

Of course, the beach (the main thing we come to Eleuthera for) is incredible. The beach is clean, quiet and absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the relative solitude and found every passerby to be friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ocean Trace and would recommend this home for a comfortable vacation stay. This home is perfect for a family or two with children as the 3rd bedroom offers bunks that will sleep four.

The staff at Eleuthera Vacation Rentals, Pam, Matt & Tara, will be honest and helpful in determining if Ocean Trace is the right fit. I hope it will be and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

We spent Christmas week at Ocean Trace and it was perfect. The house is furnished beautifully and spacious enough for the 6 of us. The grandkids loved the beach which was a short walk across the street. After searching 4 or 5 snorkeling spots, we found our beach to be the best! Restaurants were good but very expensive!
