Chinese New Year Lunar Parade and Festival in New York City - Chinatown in New York City turns into a celebration performed by dragons and dancers, This is a exciting celebration of the Lunar New Year - enoy New York City and Chinatown during this celebration with some of the finest Chinese restaurants serving delicious food in celebration of the Lunar New Year. During the Parade people begin gathering at noon before the processions officially begins at 1pm. The Parade heads down Mott Street from Canal Street and continues onto East Broadway and curves up through Sara Roosevelt Park via Forsythe and Eldridge Street to Broome Street.
