Macys 4th of July Fireworks in NYC, one of the biggest and best firework displays in the world is accompanied by musical scores and special guests, this is one Fourth of July Ceremony to experience. Get to the best rooftops, rooftop bars, lookouts, and parties to celebrate. There are also many prime waterfront viewing locations around the city, as well as, many cruise celebrations on Manhattan's Harbor.
This celebration will light up the skyline and the sound of music by the New York Orchestra and guest stars, will compliment the entire experience.
Display begins at approximately 9:00 pm, barges are stationed between 23rd and 42 streets in the East River (check to see harbour send offs as it has changed throughout the years) but be assured that thousands of aerial rockets and special effect displays will occur no matter the location and viewing opportunities abound. There are also set pieces on the barges and in the past the fire boats shoot out red, white, and blue water hundreds of feet in the air over the river.
