It sleeps 6 people (K, Q and Q). Enjoy the view of Grandfather Mountain on the back deck or in the grassy backyard. This log cabin in the Lakes Community offers a mountain feel with all the comforts at home. La Casita, a brand-new fully furnished home, can sleep up to six people. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed, while each of the upstairs guest rooms has a queen bed. The master bathroom features a whirlpool tub and the two guest rooms upstairs share a large Jack-and-Jill bathroom with their dressing area. The house has three TVs, VCRs, DVDs and a gas fireplace in the living room. There are also eight rockers on a covered wrap-around porch, a fully-equipped kitchen with new appliances and washer and dryer. Central heat and air is also available. The Lakes Community provides guests with access to the Seven Devils Community Tennis Courts and Playground, as well as stocked Catch-and-Release Ponds. Golf, hiking or tubing in the winter and skiing during the summer are all available. All activities are located within a short drive. Pets and smoking are not allowed. Owners are exempt. During the winter months, four-wheel drive is recommended. This Log Cabin is located in Foscoe, which is centrally situated for Boone and Banner Elk. It is located on the same mountain as Hawksnest Snow Tubing & Zipline in Seven Devil's. The Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad and other High Country attractions are just minutes away. Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns and Appalachian State University can also be found nearby. Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Sugar Mountain Ski Resort offer winter sports. Beech Mountain Ski Resort, Appalachian Ski Resort and Beech Mountain Ski Resort are other options. Enjoy the mountains and fresh air. You can also be adventurous by going fishing, biking, hiking or sight-seeing. Other activities include shopping for antiques or antiquing, skiing, mini-golf, ziplining, go carts, and gem mining.
