Property Description
This charming log cabin is nestled in the woods and offers more privacy than other cabins within the Lakes Community. It has 1/2 an acre of land and many amenities such as a hot tub, foosball, DVD players, VCR, whirlpool upstairs, and more. This cabin is beautiful and inviting thanks to the attention to detail. The kitchen is fully-equipped and the living area is set up so that guests can enjoy the wood burning fireplace. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The loft has enough space to accommodate 6 people. Two bedrooms have queen-size beds and the loft has one queen-size sleeper sofa. The loft game area, downstairs bedroom, and living room all have streaming TVs. A foosball table is also available in the loft game area. The back deck is a relaxing space where guests can take in the mountain breeze and enjoy the hot tub. This cabin is ideal for a long or short stay. The Lakes Community offers guests access to stocked, catch-and-release ponds as well as the Seven Devils Community playground. There are also tennis courts and a tennis court. Window air condition available. Please do not smoke (Owners exempt). Winter months may require chains or 4-wheel drive.
This Log Cabin is centrally situated to Boone and Banner Elk, Valle Crucis, Blowing Rock in Foscoe. It is located on Seven Devil's Mountain, right next to Hawksnest Snow Tubing & Zipline. It is located in the High Country, just minutes from the Tweetsie Railroad, Blue Ridge Parkway and Grandfather Mountain. Linville Falls and Caverns are also nearby. There are many options for winter sports, including Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort and Appalachian Ski Resort. Enjoy the tranquility and fresh air of the mountains, and take a break from the hustle and bustle to go hiking, biking, fishing, and sight-seeing. Other things people enjoy include shopping, antiquing and skiing, mini-golfing, ziplining and go-carts and gem mining.
