Timbers I-1 - This beautiful condo can accommodate up to seven people. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the guest bedroom has a king-sized bed. A fold-up cot and a full murphy are also available in the lower recreation area. There are two covered decks, hardwood floors, gas fireplaces, and two TVs, one with a built-in VCR/DVD, in the recreation area. The unit is equipped with a fully-equipped kitchen, including pots/pans, dishes, and appliances. This resort is located centrally between Boone and Banner Elk, as well as Blowing Rock. The Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad and other popular attractions of the High Country are just minutes away. Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns and Appalachian State University can also be found nearby. Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Sugar Mountain Ski Resort offer winter sports. Beech Mountain Ski Resort, Appalachian Ski Resort and Beech Mountain Ski Resort are other options. Enjoy the mountains and fresh air. You can also be adventurous by going fishing, biking, hiking or sight-seeing. Other activities include shopping or antiquing, skiing, mini-golf, ziplining, go carts, and gem mining.
