The Location

Sarasota and Siesta Key Proper deliver the best bathing beaches on the continent, springtime weather that’s the envy of the world, and a distinctive simplicity sure to earn a place in your rotation.  This property is the size of some small tropical islands and can feel like you are a million miles from everything, but attractions abound both onsite and nearby. You could arrive and never tire of the beach, lagoon, and sunsets, or you can venture outside the bubble. Nearby attractions include - polo matches at Lakewood Ranch, kayaking in mangrove tunnels at Lido, birdwatching at the Audubon, power boating, crew regattas, tarpon and deep-sea fishing, swimming with bay dolphins and manatees, theater and ballet companies, and dozens of restaurant row areas just to name a few. 

The House

Built with island roots the house aesthetic is unpretentious and in perfect harmony with its surroundings. Thoughtful touches are sure to make you feel at home almost immediately. The driveway entrance faces the lagoon dock and is lined with palms.  At the front entry you’ll be greeted by a limestone fountain and steppingstone path to the beach behind. Inside, you’ll enjoy 25 floor-to-ceiling windows each with breathtaking ocean views.  The kitchen has Viking appliances and is a large space well suited to self-catering and larger gatherings. Two offices, one with ocean views and another poolside, are available with dependable Wi-Fi and suitable for a small team of colleagues, or any individual opportunities that come up. The pool is beach-facing with a spa and slide. The property grounds feature spots sure to inspire. A cup of coffee on the lagoon at sunrise makes the list.  A picnic table in the palms is perfect for kids’ meals, arts and crafts, or quiet time.  Expect unforgettable sunsets well spent on terrace areas with cocktails. The top of the list is the deck and fire pit set right on the beach path.

Getting There

You’ll achieve all this without layovers, mandatory rides on prop planes, passing customs, and other Third World country travel headaches.  Our location is just 10 miles from commercial and private airports, and less than a four-hour flight from most large markets. The closest airports include – SRQ, RSW, PGD, and PIE.
