This was such a beautiful cabin! It exceeded our expectations! It was the perfect location and size for our family. It was very clean, and had all the necessary amenities and appliances. (Bring your own body soap and shampoo/conditioner) We enjoyed the hot tub, although some of the jets weren't working properly. And the gas fireplace was not working. There were 8 of us and we enjoyed all the space. Beds were comfortable. This was the first time we rented a cabin, and we can't wait to do it again! And the fact that it was Christmas, just made it even more special. We just wish we could've stayed one more night.

The Armitage cabin was outstanding! The location was beautiful, ideal for stargazing at night after making s'mores. It was ideally located for a quick trip to Yellowstone, and a comfortable place for the return. Cheri provided excellent instructions. I would highly recommend!
Best Christmas Ever!

This cabin was perfect for our family Christmas!! Seven adults and my 8 year old grandson, who was thrilled to sleep in the “stair bedroom” with his aunt! Very clean, spacious, had all of the things you would need in the kitchen. We couldn't get the gas fireplace to work, and some jets in the hot tub were not working, but we still enjoyed ourselves immensely!! Communication with hosts was timely, considering the holiday. We honestly felt at home. First time we've ever rented a cabin. When we do it again, most likely will be this one!

This vacation home was perhaps the best “cabin” we have stayed in. Clean, comfortable and well stocked with the amenities that define the difference between a motel and a home. The fire pit area was great for a nightly fire and the adjacent grassy area was an added benefit for lawn games and provided a great place for the kids to play. It's nice to head for home with no regrets!

The Armitage cabin was outstanding! The location was perfect, being not too close to Yellowstone for all the craziness. The accommodations were very comfortable and spacious. The fire pit was perfect for s'mores, and it was dark enough for some decent stargazing. I would highly recommend this cabin, as I plan on booking again for our next Yellowstone adventure!

We just finished our stay at Armitage cabin. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and we loved the hot tub and horseshoe pit. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a very comfortable time at Island Park. The home is renovated and every aspect has been thought about by the owner to ensure the rental feels like a home. From things like towels, clean kitchen, utensils and bowls, washing machine, working dishwasher, bedding, TV and a grill. The entire home was clean. The owner responded quickly to questions and concerns. The only reason I did not give a 5 reading was minor issues. WiFi was slow, grill was slow to cook, and the driveway to the home has many potholes (thankfully we had an SUV so no major worries there).

Family really enjoyed the Armitage cabin. Clean with good amenities. We were visited nightly by a large cow moose with a calf. Pretty amazing.

The Armitage cabin was GREAT! We arrived to find the cabin clean and comfortable with new carpet, clean rooms and comfortable beds. The cabin was easy to find, close to most things in Island Park. It is important to know that Yellowstone is a good 30 minute drive so plan accordingly. We stayed 7 nights at the Armitage and went into the park three days but spent the rest in Island Park. Our only disappointment was trying to book two additional days to find it full. There was that much to do! We floated the river at Henry's fork twice once with a rented raft from High Mountain adventure because we had two cars, (they do not transport) The second time we used Mack's Inn because they will transport you and your kayaks up the river so you do not need two cars. Don't miss the Mack's Inn Playhouse. We also highly recommend the Playmill theater in West Yellowstone. We ate dinner one night in West Yellowstone coming out of the park and then went to the 8:30 show. It was perfect. The cabin has good beds and the hot tub was a HIGHLIGHT! We also found the Verizon cell coverage good and the internet was fast enough for my husband to work but not fast enough to stream movies. However, the few movies we watched the owners had on DVD there. Our 11 year old said this was one of his favorite vacations. Having a nice, clean, comfortable place to stay was a HUGE part of it. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Thank you for accommodating us, at 10:00 pm, when our first cabin was not in the best condition. Sheri went above and beyond to get us into his amazing cabin at 11:00 pm! The owners of the cabin clearly have pride in heir vacation home. The kitchen was stocked with everything one would need to be comfortable. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the sheets and blankets were clean and in great condition. The hot tub out back was a great way to end a cold day of hiking. I will spread the word to anyone wanting to travel to your area!

Very comfortable house with lots of amenities. It was a bit remote--we were driving to Yellowstone each day. Loved the hot tub!
