This place was perfect for our family of 13. There was plenty of space for everyone. It even came equipped with a toy room for the little ones to play in. The location is pretty convenient as well. All though, the "driveway" (a dirt road) is pretty tough to navigate. You would definitely need 4 wheel drive and chains in the winter to get to this place. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone. I would also highly recommend Island Park Reservations. They are very responsive with any questions or needs you have. My family and I will return for another visit.

I'm always nervous when booking, but I was pleasantly surprised. The cabin is so big and spacious. We had 13 people, and we had more than enough room. The cabin is absolutely beautiful!




 






Great House

The house was amazing. The road to get to it was not great but that was due to the flooding. We were very impressed that by the 3rd day of our stay it was all fixed up. The house was super clean and big enough to accommodate two families. The sliding door the the balcony wouldn't lock but we didn't mind that. The house was in the perfect spot that we didn't have to drive to far to get where we were going. We came for Yellowstone but it closed the day we got there. But there was plenty to do around the area. We even saw a Moose on our driveway one morning. We will stay again whenever we go back to visit Yellowstone.




 






Pictures just don't do it justice - Beautiful Cabin in the Woods

When booking Legacy Lodge, the pictures just do not do the cabin any justice. This property was fantastic for our large family. The downstairs had a pool/ping pong table, air hockey, and a movie theater. The upstairs with all it's unique lofts and toys available was an instant hit for our children. The kitchen and large dining area was not portrayed by the pictures at all in the beauty of sitting at the large dining table overlooking the woods. This property makes it seem like you are all alone in the woods. It was a wonderful get away and the highlight of our trip for some of our kids. We appreciated the amenities it had to offer from the white towels to anything you could want. Wonderful outdoor spaces for all to enjoy as well. The roads can be a bit rough in the rain getting there if you are in a large vehicle; but, manageable if taken slow. The thermostats were a bit confusing for our family and the beds weren't like home if we had to complain about anything. If you are debating Legacy Lodge, stop debating it and book the property. It is an excellent stay.
