Property Description

Ahoy Mateys welcome aboard the Black Pearl! This is a uniquely designed classic Pacific City oceanfront beach home. Sitting in the sand with amazing views, this vintage home has hosted many family memories over the years, but has recently been purchased and renovated. Featuring all new furnishings, amenities, beds, windows, and more, the Black Pearl is ready for a new generation of beach fun. Kids will love the cool pirate theme and the fun bunk loft with a tv! There is direct beach access to Pacific City's amazing beach and a short walk to Cape Kiwanda. Pet friendly! This home will accommodate only 4 adults. The upstairs bunks are kid-sized.

Layout:
Main level entry has enclosed front deck, great room with views, cozy couch, dining area, eating bar and kitchen. Back deck access. Primary bedroom has king bed, ocean views and full bath. Full hall bath. Back bedroom has queen bed and loft ladder access. Loft has 4 single bunks (kid sized) and a small play area with TV.

Neighborhood:
Kiwanda Shores is a private gated community of quality homes on the ocean front in Pacific City. Security, pride in ownership and peaceful enjoyment of the coastal experience is shared by Kiwanda Shores homeowners and renters alike. A low bank sandy beach slopes to the ocean from the Ocean Front homes. Beach access is available to the Second Row and Back homes.

This home is built directly on a sand dune that leads to the beach. During winter storms the sand can quickly drift and accumulate around the property sometimes affecting the ocean view. Although we make every effort to remove the sand and preserve the view prior to your stay, the winter weather makes this difficult to predict and views may not be guaranteed.

For Summer Bookings between 7/1-9/4: There may not be one or two day gaps. So if you book a stay allowing this type of gap between bookings, you may be asked to cancel or move dates. We apologize for inconvenience but the online booking system does not allow for this type of rule.

This home is pet friendly for one or two dogs. Please let us know if you will be bringing a pet so that we can add the non-refundable pet fee of $10/night. Only well-behaved dogs are allowed. Pets are not allowed on the furniture, or left in the house unattended.

Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval. After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms.

The safety of our staff, guests and local community is our top priority. This home is professionally managed and cleaned to strict standards in line with CDC guidelines, including supervised housekeeping and post-clean sanitation.

Cancellation policy: 1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 7 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply).
