It's just a few minutes more to the La Jolla Village. Both activity centers feature: unique boutiques, casual and formal dining, great beach spots, beach equipment rentals/lessons, parks, shopping, grocery stores, wine tasting, nightlife, and more. . 

Perched high above the Pacific on a cul de sac you'll have the best of both worlds in that you're close enough to the action and adventure, but far enough away to escape to the peace and quiet of your vacation home. You can rest assured that at the end of a busy, adventurous day exploring all San Diego has to offer, you'll look forward to returning to your special getaway and falling peacefully asleep to lingering Pacific Ocean breezes.

ABOUT THE AREA:

La Jolla is another San Diego neighborhood exuding a Mediterranean village atmosphere.  La Jolla Shores' picturesque sandy beach runs north from La Jolla Cove and offers great snorkeling and scuba diving.  Known for its galleries, shops, restaurants and the highly scenic coastline, La Jolla is also home to branch of the Museum of Contemporary Art of San Diego.  To the north of La Jolla is Torrey Pines, home to the Torrey Pines Golf Course, one of the nation's finest public golf courses and the site of the Farmers Insurance Open in late January or early February.  Located around the course is the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, which offers paths and rock outcroppings to hike on as you make your way to pristine and often empty beaches.
