When traveling to Tahoe in the winter be prepared for winter driving, possible road closures and delays in snow removal. You are booking a trip to the mountains so come prepared.
Our snow removal crews work every day, but we have no control over the county road snow plows that clear the roads.
4WD and or chains are always recommended. If you come in a small, low profile vehicle you may have difficulties.
Tahoe has experiences frequent power outages during snow, rain, wind events. We provide lanterns, but sometimes they disappear (or batteries)

This would have been a great stay and it’s a great home however there were several key thing wrong. First and by the worst was the fact that the refrigerator did not work. The refrigerator side of the unit would was not cold at all and spoiled our food. The freezer side of the unit was not cold enough to freeze the ice cube trays and would be considered not cold enough for a refrigerator. Even after adjusting the temperature, neither the fridge or freezer get better. Lastly, the oven continued to short out while using. So the food that we did have that didn’t get spoiled from the fridge not working we could not even cook it.

Great overall location. House was inviting, clean, and say to locate and had great space. It was fully stocked with all of your basic home/kitchen essentials. Our party of 5 had way more room than needed in this house for up to 10.
