Are you planning a family Thanksgiving getaway? This home has room for you at the dining room table and a great kitchen to cook your feast in.
Welcome to our 4-bedroom Tahoe chalet, nestled against the serene backdrop of the river, mountain views and open meadow. This vacation rental is the perfect spot for guests who are passionate about exploring the great outdoors and seeking relaxation in a picturesque setting.
Our chalet comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms, making it ideal for families and friends to relax and enjoy a peaceful trip to Lake Tahoe. This cabin is located in an area called Christmas Valley, it is approximately 16-20 minutes to Heavenly Mountain Resort California Lodge, or the Stateline. It is 30 minutes to Kirkwood (weather depending) and 17 minutes to Sierra At Tahoe. This cabin is a great home base for those that love to explore Hope Valley or back country skiing, cross country skiing and more.
As you enter the chalet you will find the open living room, dining area and well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms 1 & 2 are on this level along with a full bath. Upstairs are two bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and the second bath. The top of the stairs has a baby gate for little ones safety.
River View: Experience the soothing sights and sounds of the river as it flows past . Please make sure you carefully monitor children when exploring the river area. There are neighbors on one side please do not disturb them or cross onto their lot.
Hiking Trails: Immerse yourself in nature with easy access to nearby hiking trails, perfect for all skill levels.
Fishing: Cast your line into the river for a relaxing day of fishing.
Exploration: Explore the beauty of Lake Tahoe and its surroundings, with countless opportunities for adventure.
Deck with Patio Furniture: Unwind on the spacious deck during our no snow seasons, the deck complete with comfortable patio furniture for enjoying meals or simply taking in the breathtaking views. (patio furniture is seasonal, will be removed when there is snow)
BBQ Grill: Grill up your favorite dishes on the BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining on warm summer evenings. (Note: Patio furniture and BBQ are put away in the winter to ensure their preservation.)
Gas Fireplace: Relax in the cozy ambiance of our updated gas fireplace. It's perfect for warming up after a day of outdoor adventures and adds an extra layer of comfort to your stay. In addition to the gas fireplace, the cabin is heated by central heat, there is no Air conditioning. There is a flat screen television above the fireplace with Apple TV.
The kitchen has a gas stove, built in microwave, dishwasher, drip coffee pot and is fully equipped with pots and pans, plates and glasses-just bring your food.

The cabin does not have central AC, but there is a room AC unit upstairs and window fans and ceiling fans.
Maximum Capacity: Our chalet comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests. Please note that children aged 5 and under are not counted towards the guest limit, in accordance with El Dorado County Ordinance. This allows families with young children to enjoy a comfortable stay without exceeding the maximum capacity. Occupancy limits are in place at all times.
