Real Escapes is proud to offer the Pineapple Cottage. This Cottage is named after the pineapple, which has been a symbol for hospitality, a warm welcome and good cheer since many years.
The single-level home has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen with s workstation, and a family room. The flooring is hardwood and tile. There are three TVs and wireless internet access.
The house has a large screened-in porch with ceiling fans that extends the length of the back. The porch looks out over the large backyard, creating a tranquil place to relax. This cottage has a gas barbecue, a washer/dryer and a washer/dryer. The cottage is "dog-friendly", complete with a fenced yard!
Ashantilly is located in the historic Kings Terrace Subdivision, near the Pier Village Area. The Cottage is only 0.5 miles from the village and beach by bike or walking. The nearest beach is a low tide, dog-friendly beach. It's also a great spot to watch the 4th July fireworks from the Saint Simons Pier. In the Village, you'll find a variety of great restaurants, bars and retail shops. There are also many outdoor activities. The pier is located at the far end. The pier offers fishing, crab-catching, sunset strolls and the opportunity to watch dolphin schools in action. The oceanfront path leads past the pier to the large community grill under the large oaks, the two play grounds, a newly renovated oceanfront community pool, mini golf, Saint Simons Library, and the historic Lighthouse.
