The highly sought-after Shipwatch Community can be found on a stretch of beach that runs between the historic Coast Guard Station, and Massengale Park. Shipwatch, with only 52 units, is a popular destination for couples, families and snowbirds.
Amenities include a gated entrance, pool, covered parking area, grass lawn, a community grill, and a private boardwalk to sand. Each condo features two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living/dining room that is open, a kitchen, and a balcony. Residences do not have ocean views unless specified.
Shipwatch 205 has been beautifully renovated. The kitchen is completely renovated with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and a new layout. A comfortable living area with a flat-screen tv and surround sound. High-speed internet is provided for free.

* The number of guests at this property is limited to six (6). * Dogs may be brought into this unit for a non-refundable fee. • Parking is available for 2 vehicles.

Great location on the beach. Unfortunately location can't make up for a lack of care. On our first day we had to have the living room sofa, chairs and dining rooms chairs professionally cleaned and they were still stained and smelled like dog. After two visits from the bug exterminator we were still seeing cockroaches. There was no frying pan or broom but Real Escapes brought those over within an hour of our requesting them. I had to purchase additional small plates and bowls - the unit only had 4 of each. The walls are dirty, dingy and in need of a new paint scheme. And there is no sound proofing - we heard every footstep and toilet flush of the people above us. I could go on but suffice it to say we were hugely disappointed in Shipwatch 205. A little investment by the owner would go a long way to improving this condo.
