Grey is for trash, Blue is for recycling and green is for food waste.Trash bins need to be taken out weekly on Sunday evenings; please bring them to the end of the street on Sunday, put them on the side of the road or put them at the concrete patch in front of the neighbors house to the right as you are walking down the driveway. No loud Parties or Events: Please respect our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 9 AM. If you are going to have an event or something like that you feel like might be loud after those hours I would suggest another property. 4. Occupancy: The maximum number of guests is 6.5. NO FIRES, CANDLES, OR FIREWORKS OF ANY SORT IN OR AROUND THE HOUSE. Due to our location in a high fire zone in Southern California, we have a strict no-fire policy.6. Please note that the fireplace is currently inoperable and off-limits. 7. This house is on septic, so please follow the below guidelines for septic rules.8. The front deck and top of the carport are currently off limits and cannot be used at this time. They both need some work done, which will be done shortly. Free Netflix streaming: Login: 3270cedar@gmail.comPassword: sder19Inside Entertainment: Projector with streaming services, record player, books, board games (in the 3rd bedroom closet). Projector screen: The projector will not show up during the day; it needs to be dark in order to see it. The control box that lowers and raises the screen to the left side of the chimney will move the screen up and down. Note: The up part gets stuck so you will have to push stop in order for it to stop going up (just a glitch sorry about that) Then use the two remotes to control the google chrome to watch Netflix and Amazon prime. You will need to select Input then HDMI then you will be ready to go. Record Player: The record player is bluetooth and will sync to the 2 black speakers in the dining room and the living room. There is a small button to the left that is the bluetooth speaker hookup. You will need to hook up the bluetooth every time you use the record player. (Factory default)Air Conditioning & Heat InstructionsAir Conditioning & HeatWe have central AC and heat to keep you comfortable year-round. However, due to the size of the windows and the design of our midcentury modern house, we have provided a few options to ensure your comfort: Central AC: The whole house AC is Operated by Ecobee to the right of the master bedroom. I suggest you leave it at a certain temperature because it can take a while to get the house temperature back to normal during hot summer days or cold winter days.For example: if you open doors and windows during the day in the summer, the house will quickly heat up to whatever it is outside, making it extremely hard to cool back down in the evenings.Mini Split: Use the wall unit if the house isnt cooling/heating to your preference. This will provide an additional blast of heat/cold. The wall unit is located in the living room over the piano and is operated by the small remote mounted on the wall near the master bedroom.Please leave remotes on the walls to avoid damage or misplacement.Did you know the mini split is also much more efficient and eco-friendly than central AC?Whole House Exhaust Fan: **Only use if you want to match the indoor temperature with the outdoor temperature. Take a look at the weather station on the counter. If the outside temperature is below the inside temperature and youd like the house cooler, open a few doors and/or windows then turn the fan on. The switch is located next to the front door and the dial to control the airflow is located next to the second bathroom.Kitchen InformationFully equipped with a fridge, oven, microwave (in pantry), coffee maker, juicer and hand juicer, blender, measuring cups and spoons as well as cooking essential & utensils. Kitchen Sink faucet: The sink is a water saving motion sensor device. Turn the handle up for hot and out for cold. Wave your hand near the sensor on the left to turn it on. Takes a minute to get used to it but it saves water and it's easy to use once you get used to it. Automatic faucets help reduce the spread of bacteria and food contaminants by minimizing the need to touch faucet handles. Filtered Water: Use the culligan water spigot to the right of the sink for drinking water. We have installed a whole house reverse osmosis system. This water is rated as good as bottled water and sustainable because of no extra bottles!Other House InformationLaundry: Washer and dryer are located in the house. Please only use the laundry soap that is all natural as we have a septic tank and harsh detergents will damage the septic tank and leach lines. Please try not to use the dryer from 4PM-9PM as rates are high, but if you have to go ahead, just a request. :) The best time to use the washer and dryer is during the weekend between 1 AM and 4 PM. Using appliances during these hours helps reduce strain on the grid and is more eco-friendly.Cleaning: Please do not use any cleaning supplies that are harsh, per septic rules. We recommend using vinegar if you are doing any cleaning. Its located under the sink and refills in the pantry if the spray bottle runs out :) Vinegar is non-toxic, biodegradable, multi-purpose, and way more environmentally friendly!Energy: To help conserve energy and support the grid, we recommend using large appliances like the washer and dryer during off-peak hours. Peak hours are from 4 PM to 9 PM, when energy utility demand is highest. Feel free to use them whenever you need, but keeping these tips in mind can make a positive impact. Thank you for your cooperation!Home Automation: The house has some smart home technology but no cameras inside, just outside to keep an eye on maintenance and security. The home is equipped with Google Home which allows you to control everything that is networked from the iPad in the kitchen. This iPad has a google home application and allows you to turn on and turn off Patio lights, switches. While you are outside you can also ask the google mini speakers (located on the back decks) to play music and switch the lighting. Some of the lights come on at sunset and typically shut off around 8:30 PM. The kitchen lights follow a similar schedule. If you want to turn the patio lights, kitchen lights or outside off or on you can just use the ipad google home and shut off the lights. House MaintenancePool Cleaner: The pool is cleaned 2 times a week between 12 PM and 3 PM on Monday or Wednesday and Fridays. Please do not remove the pool cleaner from the pool. It cleans 24 hours a day and assures that you and the next guests have a pleasant experience.IMPORTANT: Please keep the automatic pool cleaner in the pool as it cleans it at night and in the morning. Failure to put back in the pool will result in the pool being dirty for next guests and a fee of $150.Landscapers: The landscaper comes on Friday mornings between 9 AM and 11 AM. Extra Cleanings (by request): If you would like a cleaning service please let me know we have a great team that can do a basic cleaning for $200.
