Rock Lobster is located in Treasure Island. It is less than one mile from Johns Pass, where you can shop and eat, watch the dolphins and even rent jet skis. Treasure Island was named after an early hotelier who dug up and found a few wooden chests along the beach. The chests contained treasure, according to the hotelier. The news quickly spread and the area was renamed Treasure Island. Treasure Island is close to St. Petersburg, and centrally located to everything.
