The Space:
Our ground floor condo at Habitat features caribbean hues for a tranquil vibe as you walk in. Two full bathrooms make getting ready easy. This condo is a 1140 square feet, whereas most 2/2s on the Island are 900 square feet, making it very spacious with a very private master bedroom w/exterior entrance.

Exact bedding includes a queen in the master bedroom, a bunk bed in the second bedroom with a double-sized bed on the bottom, a single on top, and an extra single bed to the side. There is also a pull-out sofa couch in the living room and another side couch (not a sleeper). Please bring bedding if you plan on using the sleeper sofa.

BBQ is allowed off the back patio, though a grill is not provided. The back patio which opens to a grassy area is super convenient with pets

The condo is super close to the beach, less than one block away and not on a real busy street.

Walk to Kelly's Irish Pub, the Island Market, Coral Reef Bar, or Parrot Eyes bar and watersports on the Bay. Clayton's Beach Bar is less than a mile away too. While this condo is not a brand new remodel, the overall size if you do have 7 or 8 people but want to save money and stick with a 2 bedroom like this is very ideal.

The washer and dryer do come in handy.

There is additional free parking along Gulf Blvd on the street less than half a block away though it can be a challenge on weekends. The post office is another spot to park free where they do not tow cars.

The condo is all tile with no carpeting. The complex pool has a unique 2nd-floor sun deck area. The kitchen is equipped with all you need to make fun family memories and meals. Plenty of room in the living room for family games too.

Please read and agree to 100% of the House Rules section prior to booking.

Up to 2 dogs or birds are allowed. The pet fee is $75 per dog & you must pick up all droppings. Dogs cannot be left alone to bark or allowed on furniture. Pets found on the property without prior notice to us as hosts will be evicted without refund.

South Padre Short-Term license numbers is available upon request.

Our listing requires that the primary tenant is 25 years of age or older to book and be present at check-in. Contact us prior to booking if you are not 25—no exceptions if you do not contact us for an exception. Additional damage deposits do apply if not 25.

Please note we require an e-sign rental agreement with an attached photo ID after booking to maintain our City of South Padre Island Rental License. Sign via Docusign before arrival to receive a door code. Provide your email address and photo ID to verify age.

The property is professionally managed by South Padre Island Trips at 2600 Padre Blvd 78597 on the Island. For stays of 3 nights or more, we offer complimentary linen and towel exchange at our office across from the Kraken Bar & Grill.

Please contact us prior to making a reservation, not after, as we have a strict cancellation policy. We fully disclose this prior to booking and require all guests to read and agree to all house rules and submit a Docusign rental agreement contract with a picture of your photo ID for age verification.

Please note in March there is a charge of $35 per person for a condo security wristband fee. This fee is pre-collected and not optional.
