Our cabin is only a five-minute drive from The Blue Ridge Parkway and the nearby town of Sparta is nestled between several Christmas tree farms and boasts many amenities for being the quaint town it is. The locals in town are always helpful and friendly making visitors feel welcome. There are couple of cozy coffee shops that makes freshly baked goods and many other restaurants serving up delicious cuisines. Looking to do some shopping? There are several gift shops, antique stores, a pottery shop, and a candle shop that makes candles on-site, and a local grocery store that sells all local honey, meat, seafood, and eggs. </span></span></span></span></p>

Hoping to get out and enjoy a hike? We’re not far from Stone Mountain Park, Grayson Highlands, and Doughton Park. If fishing is your idea of relaxation then you’ll love that we’re close to New River, which is the oldest river on the North American Continent and is a slow-moving river that is fantastic for fishing, fly fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and swimming. Just remember, if you’re planning to fish, make sure you have your fishing license. If you’re into golfing, you’ll find three golf courses that aren’t very far away. There are many local events going on throughout the year, like the Mountain Heritage Festival which takes place the 3rd Saturday in September, and the Blue Ridge Mountain Fair which is a 2-day event each year and is held on the 4th Friday and Saturday of July, as well as The Alleghany County Farmers Market which takes place each Saturday Summer to Fall. </span></span></span></span></p>
