Charming home with views of the gulf! This house is the perfect island home away from home. You can walk to the beach, there are great restaurants nearby and a playground across the street. Not only is this home in a great location, but the house is great for families or small groups. There is a second living area downstairs with two bedrooms and a kitchenette. Two more bedrooms are located upstairs along with a fully renovated kitchen, a large dining table, and a living room with a sleeper sofa and TV. While the home has been completely renovated and updated, the Queen Anne details were preserved. The home has a lot of charm and some beautiful original features. Come make memories by the sea that you will never forget!<br />

The upstairs has 2 bedrooms - 1 bedroom with a King bed and the 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed plus a daybed with trundle. The living room has a sleeper sofa, recliners, and flat-screen TV. The dining room has a big beautiful table with seating for 8. The kitchen has been completely updated with subway tile and new appliances. The upstairs ceiling is original to the home and there are a lot of architectural details that will catch your eye. The downstairs also has 2 bedrooms - both with Queen beds. There is also a sleeper sofa downstairs. In addition to that, the downstairs has a cute kitchenette with a sink and mini-fridge. There is also a full-size washer and dryer downstairs.<br />

This house is in an ideal spot for a Galveston vacation. It is only 2 blocks from the Seawall, so a quick walk to put your toes in the sand or go for a swim. It is only 4 blocks from Galveston Historic Pleasure Pier and the great restaurant Fish Tales. It is 4.5 miles from Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn Waterpark, and 2 miles from Strand Historic District with its great shopping and dining. There is also a great Recreation Center right across the street from the house that offers a playground with a splash pad, tennis courts, a skateboard park, and sometimes live music on Thursday evenings. You will find beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys, and a cooler in the garage for you to use.<br />
