The Carmel Art and Film Festival screens the best in independent film in four categories: Narrative Feature, Documentary, Short, and Student. Viewing hundreds of films and narrowing down to approximately a hundred to enter the festival. CAFF presents awards in all four categories with the addition of the Clint Eastwood Filmmakers Award given to a filmmaker who exemplifies Clint’s commitment to the craft of filmmaking. Five days of independent film complemented by contemporary art, music, conversations, and lecture series, and workshops. There are also diner celebrations throughout the festival including a Filmmaker's Beach Dinner on beautiful Carmel Beach.
