Things To Do in Rosemary Beach Florida

Take a Dip in the Pools

Four marvelous pools make Rosemary Beach a must-visit place in Florida. These pools will take your vacation experience to the next level. The Barbados Pool is not only a perfect spot for cooling down but also an aesthetic wonder. It follows a French West Indies style of architecture as attested by its vestibule fountain, stucco tower, and shaded loggia.

Our second pool destination is the Coquina Pool which is an infinity pool framed by palm trees along the Gulf Coast. Then, you have the Cabana Pool, which is frequented by locals and tourists with their children.

Finally, we go to the luxurious Sky Pool, an indoor pool that's open throughout the year. It features a motorized roof, heated pathways, lounging areas, and swim lanes.

Chill at the Beach

It’s curious when you talk about Rosemary Beach and not mention its clean and fantastically beautiful white-sand beaches. The town has a lovely stretch of beach resorts blessed with the emerald-blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Saunter along the shoreline, swim in the immaculate waters or relax in a chair while watching the whole beach scene.

Visit Deer Lake State Park

A coastal dune lake, a boardwalk that stretches for one mile, and wildlife sightings, Deer Lake State Park is an incredible spot in Rosemary Beach. You can do picnics here, fish at the dune lake, watch birds, and spot coyotes and bobcats.

Ride a Bike

Biking is the preferred means of transportation by many folks in Rosemary Beach. You can travel by bike along the Timpoochee Trail located on the scenic 30A highway. The trail passes through dune lakes, beach communities, state parks, and coastal forests.

Horseback Riding

It’s a fun experience to ride on horseback along the Gulf of Mexico. Arnett’s Gulfside Trail Rides is one of the popular companies that let you do horseback riding in Rosemary Beach. Their horses are calm and healthy and know the trails in the town well. If it’s your first time riding a horse, the company also provides horseback riding lessons.

See the Plants and Butterflies

The Butterfly Garden in Rosemary Beach will put a wow on your face with its different plant species frequented by hundreds of butterflies. It has a lovely wooden walkway and butterfly cottage. If you want a different vacation experience, you should visit the Butterfly Garden.

Wine and Dine

Rosemary Beach has the best fine dining places in Florida. If you want some carefully selected and delicious dinner courses, include Edward’s Fine Food and Wine in your vacation plan.

The place features a laidback and entertaining setting. Since it’s near the beach, you can wear whatever attire at Edward’s. Included in the dinner menu are crispy brussels sprout, local arugula, pan-roasted salmon, seared diver scallops, mac and cheese, and many more. It also has an excellent selection of wine.

Watch a Movie Outdoors

Imagine watching a movie outdoors while the breeze is wafting from the Gulf Coast. Isn’t it wonderful? Well, you can experience that at the Western Green in Rosemary Beach.

On Thursdays, the place plays movies to cinephiles outdoors. Just bring your lawn chair, and you can catch an evening film at Western Green. There are also food stalls that sell hotdogs and popcorn. So, make sure to visit this place when you’re in Rosemary Beach because you’ll surely have lots of fun!
