Lone Mountain Ranch offers 85 kilometers of world-class groomed ski trails and is a great spot for experts and those new to the sport of nordic skiing. Big Sky Resort is also just a twelve-minute drive up to Lone Mountain Trail from the home and offers the chance to experience the "Biggest Skiing in America," with 5,800 skiable acres!In the Summer, enjoy a short 3 minute drive to Ousel Falls Trailhead! Ousel Falls is a spectacular waterfall surrounded by lush green forests in the Custer Gallatin National Forest. The trail features the 100-foot falls, some overlooks, and access to the waterfall's base. There are magnificent views of the valley, and the falls themselves are incredible. In the summer, keep an eye out for the wildlife as this area is known for its population of Ousel Birds, also called the American Dipper. The terrain is well-maintained and consists of bridges and well-groomed paths. *There is a long-term resident living in the apartment located above the garage. The garage is about twenty yards from the main home. This tenant is very respectful and only lives here part-time.
