Since 2001, we have been sharing our areas of Ellijay and Blue Ridge with guests from across the United States. Our cabins offer the peace of our lush forests, gorgeous mountain views for that sunrise cup of coffee, and the excitement of rushing water as well as calming sound of babbling creeks. As “The Pet Friendliest Cabin Company,” we make it easy to getaway and bring your fur family with you. We don’t discriminate on the weight, size or breed of your dog and a few of our cabins are cat-friendly, too. Upon arrival, you’ll find your cabin prepped with pet bowls, dog treats, toys, a large dog bed and even towels just for those muddy paws. The majority of our cabins have gated decks or fenced yards or both. You’ll also love the small town charm and our nice people. We have been in the Vacation Rental business here in the Ellijay and Blue Ridge area since 2001. We have great relationships with our Owners, Vendors and Guests and that’s important to us.
We’re a local company and we only rent cabins in the Ellijay, Blue Ridge area, not across Georgia or across the United States, only here. We live locally as does our staff of managers, housekeepers, maintenance personnel, and reservationists. This allows us to be responsive to cleanings and maintenance so there is minimal down time for rental availability. Our reservationists are not part of a national call center, they live here too. As cabin specialists, they preview every single Sliding Rock Cabin. They know our cabin neighborhoods well and are experts at matching Guests to cabins. Those things only happen if you’re a local.
As cabin owners ourselves, we are your guinea pigs, trying new things to increase rentals and then passing those ideas on to you. Our 18-years of experience here means we have expansive knowledge to share about what appeals to guests, what makes them choose a certain cabin and what makes them return to book again. 70% of our 40+ properties have been in our program over 9 years. 65% are returning guests and our occupancy rate is the highest in the area.
