The front sun deck and deep wrap-around covered porch beckon you to catch some rays or rock away the hours enjoying glimmering seascapes and enjoying the sounds of the South Beach waves hitting the shore.  "Cottage" is misleading as the inside of this bright open-floorplan home is spacious! The light-filled living area provides the perfect spot for snuggling and conversations.  Anchored by a decorative fireplace with a distressed mantel, you'll love this spot's (and the rest of the home's) reclaimed wood floors, white shiplap and beamed coffered ceiling. The nearby handsome dining space is surrounded by windows and houses an elegant table seating eight. Nearby, a large gleaming granite island not only provides plenty of prep space but also accommodates four at its breakfast bar. The chef's kitchen, boasting stainless appliances and a convenient adjacent bar area, has been thoughtfully stocked with an abundance of cookware and bakeware for the gourmet enthusiast. 

There are three well-appointed bedrooms and 2.5 baths on this floor. The first two are King suites, each with their own private full bath. The other is a bright bunk room with two built-in Twins and access to a half bath. Upstairs you will find two additional bedrooms. One is the King Master suite with its own ensuite bath and an ocean-view balcony where you will spend every evening savoring the sunset! The other is a Twin bedroom with two beds. It utilizes the nearby full bath in the hall. The home recently installed all new beds, mattresses and bedding. 

Located almost exactly in the center of the Island, this home is close to all of BHI's amenities . Plus, it's dog friendly-so you can bring your canine family member on vacation with you!  Other features include a gas grill, outdoor shower and use of two four-passenger golf carts. Renters are strongly encouraged to make desired reservations with the club immediately upon booking, and also to become familiar with club policies, procedures, and schedules. WWP representatives will not be able to answer most club-related questions.

There is a three-night minimum on most WWP homes in the off season, with select homes having a two-night minimum. There is a seven-night minimum during the summer season. Paddle boards, surfing boards, bicycles, bicycle accessories for children, beach chairs and umbrellas, and kayaks can be rented on the island at local businesses.

The Bald Head Island Club has a fitness center, pool/water park, tennis, golf, croquet and dining. Temporary memberships are available for separate purchase if your rental home has a Bald Head Island Club membership attached.

The Shoals Club has a fitness room, pools, dining, private beach access with chairs and umbrellas available. Temporary memberships are available for separate purchase if your rental home has a Shoals Club membership attached.

The Bald Head Island Conservancy has summer camps, turtle nesting programs, guided kayak tours, island nature tours, birding tours, fishing school, and environmental/nature activities for adults and children.

The Old Baldy Foundation provides Island historic tours, climb Old Baldy Lighthouse, visit the museum.
