Step onto the rocking chair porch and linger listening to bird and cicada song or walk into the generous living area of this open floor plan home. The living space boasts vaulted ceilings, warm hardwoods and plenty of natural light from its many windows. Snuggle into the comfy seating and enjoy a cozy conversation or watch a movie on the flat screen over the decorative fireplace. Beyond, the roomy chef's fully-equipped kitchen gleams with its granite counters and stainless appliances. You'll appreciate the plethora of custom cabinets, too.  The ample island houses not only plenty of prep space but a breakfast bar seating four. Nearby, the handsome dining area comfortably accommodates eight and delights with serene views of Mother Nature. It also offers access to the generous screened porch-the perfect spot to enjoy a beverage, relax and recharge.  Down a quiet hallway, sequestered through curtains, this level houses two suites. The first is a peaceful Queen with its own full bath ensuite. The other is a large sunshine-filled King Owner's suite with a California closet and spa-like full bath with a big tiled shower. Upstairs, a balconied hall overlooks the living area and leads to three more bedrooms. The first is an airy bedroom with two Twins. It shares a convenient hall full bath with the next door bunk room. The bunk room is equipped with four built-in bunks and decorated nautically with hatch windows, nautical pennants and a flag depicting the ship The Corsair. On the other side of the balcony, is a private Queen suite with a large closet, full ensuite bath and access to its own sun deck. Centrally located within walking distance to the Market and shops and just minutes to the beach, you'll enjoy smooth sailing with a stay at The Corsair!

This property’s amenities include a grill, an outdoor shower, internet access and use of one six-passenger and one four-passenger golf cart. 

Dogs allowed for an additional required, nonrefundable $300/pet fee.

Paddle boards, surfing boards, bicycles, bicycle accessories for children, beach chairs and umbrellas, and kayaks can be rented on the island at local businesses.

The Bald Head Island Club has a fitness center, pool/water park, tennis, golf, croquet and dining. Temporary memberships are available for separate purchase if your rental home has a Bald Head Island Club membership attached.

The Shoals Club has a fitness room, pool, dining, private beach access with chairs and umbrellas available. Temporary memberships are available for separate purchase if your rental home has a Shoals Club membership attached.

The Bald Head Island Conservancy has summer camps, turtle nesting programs, guided kayak tours, island nature tours, birding tours, fishing school, and environmental/nature activities for adults and children.

The Old Baldy Foundation provides Island historic tours; climb Old Baldy Lighthouse, visit the museum.
