Nestled among the windswept pines the last house on a private dead end street, you'll find beach access just 11 houses down the street. There is also a secret path for older children and agile adults that will get you to the miles of sandy beach to walk on. This is a perfect house for two couples or a couple with 2 children This darling 1965 beach home found new owners this year and they've gone in and done some strategic wrinkle removing, giving this home a fantastic facelift. The house has received new paint, a renovated master bath, and some wonderful updated decor while leaving it's all it's charm and character. The living room, dining room and kitchen are one large room with sweeping ocean views decorated with calming beachy colors, mixed with natural wood. The owners of this gem have done a marvelous job of updating, including an eclectic mix of comfortable overstuffed furniture mixed with vintage treasures. It has laminate wood floors throughout, so is perfect for kids and pets. The fully outfitted galley kitchen separates the dining and living room from the family room. Off of the living room, is the first king bedroom . It has a solid wood accordion door to close it off from the living room. You'll also find an electric fireplace adds warmth to stormy days and cool coastal evenings. The master bedroom with a king bed is located off of the family room, and has an attached half bath. It has several large windows looking out on a forested view. You'll find a laundry nook off of the main bathroom, which has a full size stack washer and dryer. The front deck beckons you to sit & relax with a glass of wine to wind down your day. The back deck is the perfect place for enjoying your morning coffee. Enjoy a book in front of electric fireplace, spend time with your children in the yard or on the beach. We are sure that whatever you do, you will find a nice warm feeling when you return to Driftwood Heights after your days activities.
